Bashar
Succar, MD
Dr. Bashar
Succar, board-certified in OtolaryngologyHead and Neck Surgery,
has been in practice in Oakland County treating diseases of the Ear,
Nose and Throat since 1978. He treats all pathology in the head and
neck including treatment of snoring, sleep apnea, head and neck cancer
and sinus disease. He also maintains a special interest in complex surgical
procedures of the ear.
Dr. Succar
has received his medical degree from Alexandria University. He completed
his Surgical Internship at Deaconess Hospital, Buffalo, NY, and his
Surgical Residency and Otolaryngology Residency at Henry Ford Hospital
in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Succar
currently has staff affiliations with several area hospitals, including
St. Joseph Mercy, North Oakland Medical Center and William Beaumont
Hospital. He serves as a member of the Oakland County Medical Society,
Michigan State Medical Society, and Michigan Otolaryngological Society.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck
Surgery and of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Succars

Chairman, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, St. Joseph
Mercy; President, Oakland Physicians Network; Chairman, Quality Assurance
Committee at St. Joseph Mercy; Chairman, Liason Committee, Arab American
Medical Association; Director, Foundation of the Arab American Medical
Association, member, Board of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, and member
of the Physician Organization Committee for the Michigan State Medical
Society.

Romuald
T. Szymanowski, MD
A board-certified
specialist in Ear, Nose and Throat-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Romuald
Szymanowski is currently practicing at the Clarkston Location.
The Erie,
Pennsylvania native completed his undergraduate education at Gannon
University. He received his medical degree at the University of Ottawa.
His internship was completed at Bon Secours Hospital in Grosse Pointe,
Michigan. He then completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and
Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. He remained on staff there and
served as the director of resident education. During that period, he
also held a faculty appointment at the University of Michigan.
After
serving as a flight surgeon in the United States Army, including a year
in Vietnam, he returned to Michigan and began private practice.
Dr. Szymanowski
is a member of the Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and
a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He held office in the
Michigan Otolaryngologic Society and was president and past president
of the National Medical and Dental Association and the Michigan Medical
Dental Arts Club.

Sam
John Bahu, MD
Dr. Sam
Bahu is board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
and ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgery. He is a facial plastic
surgeon and specializes in cosmetic procedures of the head, face and
neck.
Dr. Bahu
completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University, where
he immediately entered medical school in 1992. He served his internship
in General Surgery at Wayne State, Detroit Medical Center, where he
also completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
He completed an accredited fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery at the Beeson Aesthetic Surgery Institute in 2002.
He maintains
staff privileges at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, William Beaumont Hospital,
North Oakland Medical Center, Select Specialty Hospital, Harper Hospital
and three other DMC hospitals.
He is
currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University,
Detroit Medical Center and the Chief of Otolaryngology on the Medical
Executive Committee of the Select Specialty Hospital in Pontiac.
Dr. Bahu
is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery, The American Society of Cosmetic and Laser Surgeons, The American
Academy of Otolaryngology, and the Association for Research in Otolaryngology.
He is also a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and the Oakland
County Medical Society. He has written and published many peer reviewed
articles in his surgical subspecialty.
